Firefly Mobile Booking App
Designed and built the Firefly iOS and Android mobile booking app — allowing passengers to search flights, book, pay, add ancillaries, check in, and display a digital boarding pass entirely from their smartphone.

The Challenge
Firefly needed a native mobile app for iOS and Android that gave passengers a complete self-service journey — from searching flights through to displaying a digital boarding pass — integrated with the Navitaire New Skies passenger service system.
Our Solution
ME-Tech designed and developed the full app using iOS SDK, Android SDK, HTML5, Java, and Objective-C. Core modules include Book a Flight, Manage My Booking, Mobile Check-in, and Boarding Pass display.
Passengers can search one-way or return trips, view Firefly Holiday packages, enter promo codes, select seats, and add value bundle ancillaries — checked luggage, meals, Enrich points, and more. Payment is supported via Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, Maybank2U, CIMB, and Alipay.
Results
Delivered in four months. The app gave Firefly a complete mobile-first booking and check-in channel. The ancillary upsell bundles in the app contributed to ancillary revenue growth, and the digital boarding pass reduced paper waste at airports.
